Sad but true. If you are organised you will save money scrapbooking.
If you have bits and pieces all over the place, you won't know what you have to be able to create a page and are far more likely to go out and spend money on things that you already have at home but have forgotten about!
I like to keep all of my embellishments together in storage containers, like the CraftMates containers for tiny embellishments.
I sort all of my papers into sizes and colors and keep them in clear storage boxes. So when I am looking for the matching color to go with my page, I can find it easy and won't be tempted to go out and by more!
There are also great products available like sorting trays similar to what they have in the scrapbooking shops. These are great for sorting papers into themes. Or a cheaper alternative is to buy one of those cardboard filing systems from any major department store. They work a treat and of course are cheap!
When you are organised, you can clearly see all the time what you already own and chances are you own more than you realize! Once you are organised, you are far more likely to use things you forgot you had and get more moneys worth out of them.
